The new Leon Cupra is equipped with a powerful 240 PS 2.0-litre TSI engine, providing emphatically strong performance along with impressive fuel economy figures. Top speed is 153 mph and the benchmark 0 to 62 mph sprint takes only 6.4 seconds, yet average combined fuel consumption is 34 mpg.
The most obvious enhancement is to the ‘face’, featuring bold vents beneath the honeycomb central grille, while the new bumper houses two further black highlights, one at each side, with the word ‘CUPRA’ immediately visible on the left.
For the first time, there is an AMG Sports package for the 2010 Mercedes-Benz S-Class and the CL-Class. With revamped AMG bodystyling, attractive 19-inch AMG light-alloy wheels and special interior details, both top Mercedes-Benz models can now be made more striking than ever in terms of sportiness. The appealing combination of exclusive equipment features, many of which are not available separately, is proving increasingly popular with customers. The AMG Sports package is now available for five Mercedes model types.
Vauxhall's Insignia range will get a powerful flagship model when the VXR version goes on sale this autumn.
With a 2.8-litre V6 engine generating a thumping 321bhp, along with four-wheel drive and a muscular makeover, the VXR is a match for premium rivals such as the Audi S4. There's plenty of power, too, thanks to a 321bhp 2.8-litre turbocharged V6 petrol engine. The VXR delivers 64bhp more than the standard Insignia V6: Vauxhall claims a 0-60mph time of 5.8 seconds with a top speed limited to 155mph.

The Audi Q7 gets a midcycle freshening, with modest enhancements inside and out, for model-year 2010. The large crossover will officially debut next week at the 2009 Shanghai Auto Show.
The exterior styling changes are minimal: redesigned grille and bumpers, LED turn signals and daytime running lights, four new paint colors and new 18-inch alloy wheels. An optional aluminum exterior package includes chrome bars in the bumpers and door moldings, as well as body-color lower bumpers and contrasting-color front apron and diffuser.
The Q7 3.0 TDI will continue for model-year 2010. In the U.S. market, Audi also will still offer two gasoline engines, the 276-horsepower 3.6 FSI V6 and the 345-hp 4.2 FSI V8, in the 2010 Q7, which goes on sale in October.
The high performance version of the Car of the Year 2009 will be unveiled on May 7, when the Opel Insignia OPC premieres at the Barcelona Motor Show, ten years after the launch of the first OPC model (Opel Performance Center).
The heart of the Insignia OPC is its 2.8 V6 Turbo engine. Derived from the powerful gasoline engine already available on the top-of-the-line Insignia, this version reaches an output of 239 kW/325 hp. The increase in power was obtained by a special engine development and by reworking the exhaust, significantly reducing the counter pressure.
The 2010 S-Class marks a modest overhaul to the German automaker’s flagship luxury sedan. In addition to interior and exterior refinements, the new S550 and S600 come with a slew of new and improved high-tech systems, including safety and convenience features.
The S550 continues to be powered by a 382 horsepower V8 with optional 4MATIC all-wheel-drive, while the pricier S600 retains its 510 hp V12.
